1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Firepype LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("Firepype," "Company," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, processes, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with the Firepype website, platform, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

Firepype provides a software platform that enables users to securely orchestrate and transmit data between third-party service providers on their behalf. By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

The Service is intended solely for individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years of age. Individuals under the age of eighteen are not permitted to use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

A. Information Provided Directly by Users

When you create an account or otherwise interact with the Service, we may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide, including but not limited to:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Physical mailing address
  • Username
  • Password (if registering directly rather than through OAuth authentication)

If you register directly with Firepype, you are required to create a password meeting minimum security requirements, including a minimum length of ten (10) characters and inclusion of at least one number and one special character. Passwords are stored using industry-standard encryption and hashing methodologies.

If you register or authenticate through an OAuth provider, including but not limited to Google or Microsoft, we receive authentication and limited profile information from such provider in accordance with that provider's privacy policies and your authorization settings.

B. Third-Party Account Integrations

Firepype enables users to connect and integrate third-party services, including but not limited to:

  • Google services (such as Gmail, Drive, and Docs)
  • Microsoft services (such as Outlook and OneDrive)
  • Dropbox
  • Slack

In connection with these integrations, Firepype accesses and processes user data solely for the purpose of performing user-initiated tasks. Firepype functions as an orchestrator that transmits data between connected providers on your behalf.

Firepype does not permanently store user content processed through the Service. Any data temporarily cached or processed for purposes of completing a user-requested operation is deleted promptly upon completion of that operation. Firepype does not create backups of customer content.

Authentication credentials and OAuth tokens are encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS) and encrypted at rest using commercially reasonable security controls.

C. Payment and Donation Information

Firepype does not process, collect, or store financial account information. If you elect to make a donation via PayPal, Venmo, or any other third-party payment processor, all payment data is processed exclusively by such third-party provider in accordance with its own terms and privacy policies. Firepype does not receive or retain financial account details.

D. Automatically Collected Information

We may automatically collect certain technical and usage information when you access or use the Service, including:

  • Internet Protocol (IP) address
  • Device identifiers
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Referring URLs
  • Usage data and interaction metrics
  • Cookie identifiers

We utilize third-party services including Google Analytics and Google AdSense, which may collect information in accordance with their respective privacy practices.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Service uses cookies and similar tracking technologies for purposes including authentication, session management, security, analytics, and advertising.

Google Analytics is used to analyze usage patterns and improve Service functionality. Google AdSense is used to serve advertisements, which may be personalized based on user behavior and interests.

Third-party advertising partners may place cookies or use similar technologies to deliver targeted advertising. You may control cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may impair certain features or functionality of the Service.

4. Use of Information

Firepype uses collected information for the following purposes:

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • To authenticate users and manage accounts
  • To perform user-initiated data transmissions
  • To improve functionality, security, and performance
  • To monitor and prevent fraud or misuse
  • To serve advertisements
  • To comply with legal and regulatory obligations

Firepype does not sell personal information.

5. Data Retention

Firepype retains account-related information for as long as an account remains active or as otherwise necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

OAuth tokens are retained only as long as required for Service functionality and are subject to user revocation at any time.

User content transmitted through Firepype is not retained beyond the completion of the user-initiated task. Temporary processing data is deleted promptly after job completion.

Users may request deletion of their account and associated personal information by contacting [email protected], subject to applicable legal retention requirements.

6. Data Security

Firepype implements commercially reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Such safeguards include encryption in transit, encryption at rest, access controls, and secure credential management practices.

No system or method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure. Accordingly, Firepype cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. International Data Transfers

Firepype operates globally. Personal information may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where data protection laws may differ from those in your country of residence.

Where required by applicable law, Firepype implements appropriate safeguards for international data transfers, including mechanisms consistent with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable frameworks.

Firepype does not sell personal information. We will not discriminate against any individual for exercising rights provided under applicable law.

10. European Economic Area and United Kingdom

For users located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, Firepype acts as:

  • A data controller with respect to account and registration information
  • A data processor when transmitting data between connected third-party services

The legal bases for processing personal data may include performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, and compliance with legal obligations.

11. Third-Party Services

If we become aware that personal information has been collected from an individual under eighteen, we will take appropriate steps to delete such information.

13. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach affecting personal information, Firepype will provide notice to affected individuals as required by applicable law.
